HEATHER SALTOS, M.D.
Dr. Saltos is a Board Certified Adult & Child Psychiatrist. She graduated from the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and completed her residency at Dartmouth University, NH. As a native of San Diego, she understands the complexity and subtle nuances affecting cultural behaviors and feelings. She fully understands the struggles and challenges families face with three children of her own. These struggles can be addressed by therapy and medication management. Treatment is tailored to address the concerns of patients and their families and to obtain an optimal resolution to present-day problems.
Objective
Dr. Saltos's set goal is to help San Diego children, teens, and their families live joyful and productive lives.
BECCA LANTRY, M.S., AMFT
Becca is a registered MFT Associate working under Dr. Saltos. She holds an M.A. in Education and an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University.
A Note From Becca
Hello and welcome! I am captivated when working with teens, adult individuals, and families who may be grappling with life transitions. As a mom and someone who experienced infant loss, I am particularly interested in working with those facing possible challenges relating to grief and loss, and with those who are entering their parenthood journeys at any capacity.
I am also fascinated by the influences that religion, familial relationships, gender, and patriarchy play into how folks may story their lives. I am excited to bring different elements of theater and expressive arts into sessions with clients of all ages who are interested.
I believe in bringing gentle and collaborative energy into the therapeutic space while heeding to clients as the experts of their own experiences. I love to do so by working with and alongside clients to honor their preferences, noticing their resiliencies, and tuning in to their many contexts.
